Bailey Cool manages marketing, social media, public relations and some program initiatives for the RGK Center. After dabbling in both film production and nonprofit work for several years during her undergraduate years, Bailey merged her two passions by creating a web series on social media best practices for mid-sized nonprofits (at 501community.org). She continues to pursue film programming and digital storytelling in the Austin community, through working at festivals (such as the Austin Film Festival, ATX TV Festival and SXSW) and by writing for the local music blog Ovrld. Bailey has done marketing and communications work for Greenlights for Nonprofit Success, Femme Film Texas, and The Dell Social Innovation Challenge (VERB). She also served on the board of directors of Camp Wildcat as Chairman of the Board and the Communications Chairperson.
Bailey has a BA in Film/Television Studies from the University of Arizona and an MA in Media Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, Department of Radio-Television-Film.
