Research and Funding Opportunities

Graduate students interested in research positions have many opportunities to explore at UT. Individual faculty of the RGK Center direct a number of independent and collaborative research efforts. Current faculty research initiatives include topics such as the strategies of performing arts organizations are using to engage diverse audiences, community indicators of well-being, neighborhood resilience to natural disasters, and using computational social science to benefit the nonprofit and philanthropic sector. To learn more about current research initiatives of faculty members, explore the Research page. In most situations, it is the faculty member who has research funds available to hire research assistants and can make offers of employment. Occasionally, the RGK Center hires research assistants or student technicians (non-research roles) for special initiatives and projects.
